There have been times in my life when I noticed how certain people made me feel after being around them. Instead of leaving me inspired or light, I’d walk away feeling drained and heavy.

It took me a while to understand that it wasn’t me — it was the energy they carried.

Some people bring negativity into every room; they find a problem for every solution, and slowly disturb your peace. For a long time, I thought I just had to accept it. But I’ve learned that protecting my own mental health means I don’t…and you don’t have to either.

The solution isn’t to fight with them or try to change them. That won’t work and it will only drain your energy further.

🚪 Step back and stay away when you need to.
✨ Redirect your energy into your own growth, your own joy, your own journey.

When I started surrounding myself with people who support me, encourage me, and celebrate even the small things — I felt the difference immediately.
